Kirkas auringonpaiste häikii hämärän parkkihallin jälkeen. Bright sunshine is blinding my eyes after staying in dim parking hall. |
Kurotan kohti Heidin näyttämiä nakinpaloja. Looking for sausage Heidi is showing me. |
Heidi oli tullut kannustusjoukkoihin muun russeliväen kyydillä ja jännitti "lapsensa" menestystä. Eipä ollut turha reissu tälläkään kertaa. Anne Sumen arvio:
"Urosmainen, erinom. tyyppi, hyvät mittasuhteet. Erittäin hyväilmeinen pää, vahva kuono-osa, hyvä purenta. Vahva kaula, hyvä ylälinja ja hännän kiinnitys. Hyvin kulmautunut edestä, hyvät takakulmaukset, hyvin kehittynyt, syvä ja pitkä rintakehä. Hyvä karvanlaatu. Vapaat liikkeet, hieman löysyyttä etuliikkeissä. Hyvä temperamentti."
Miki and mom drove to Tuulos to take part in group 3 (terriers) specialty show. Miki was competing first time in youngster class - dogs 18 months and over. The show was in parking hall of Tuuloinen Mall. Place was echoing with dog bark and other noise but Miki took it easy. Only problem we had was the wells on the floor, especially the ones with grill lid. Miki doesn't like them and tries to avoid them as well as possible. That means not going closer than two meters to them. Unfortunately there was one lid like that in show ring but we managed to go around it pretty well. Every time Miki tried to break down a bit, but mom dragged him around anyway and luckily it didn't effect on our success. Miki won his class and continued to the best dog class where he was placed second (between two adult Finnish Champions!) and earned his second certificate. In Finland you need three certificates to be Finnish champion and one of those certificates have to be earned in open class. So Miki has plenty of time to get the last one. The judge was Mrs. Anne Sume from Estonia and she liked Mikis type and temper a lot.
