This water is nice, isn't it! |
Miki on pitänyt tarkkaa vahtia pihasta.
Springtime went fast living ordinary. First dog show was on Saturday June 11th in Pieksämäki (almost 400 km from Pori). There we had a rented lake cabin with Elina, Amanda and Walle. Weather was wonderful and water in lake warm enough to enjoy swimming which we all did a lot! The show took place on very sunny and hot sports field. Luckily we found a shadowy spot to spread our blanket. Mikis show ring started at 9 and Walles hour later. The judge was very fast so we had good time to watch Walle, too. Miki won junior class, got sertificate, Excellent ribbon and sertificate. At the end Miki was the best of opposite sex and lost to champion bitch which was not a shame at all! Only reson he lost was because he didn't like to trot properly on clumpy grass.
After show we enjoyed swimming. Miki showed his Houdini skils and opened his travel crate zipper from inside faster than you can say No! He also jumped on the front door of the cabin and opened it. This on mom have to remember to lock the zipper.
Mom has been limping on crutches over a week since she had mole cut off her sole. Not the best spot to have stiches during summer time, I can tell. Dad and girls have been walking Miki now. Otherwise Miki has been outside in the garden watching birds. Girls put water in their old kids' pool and Miki plays there with water very enthusiastically. It is a good way to keep cold when it's warm like now.
